At its Bergen meeting, the Ministers of Education of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) requested that an ‘external strategy’ of the Bologna Process be developed. The preparation of this task was entrusted to a Bologna working group. In this group, which produced the said strategy, ACA, represented through its Director, played a key role. After the adoption of the said strategy by the London Ministerial meeting (2007), the working group (now responsible for ‘the EHEA in a global setting’) carries on its work with the development of proposals for concrete measures. ACA continued to be represented in this group until 2009 and led its work on promotion and marketing.
