Universities in Norway joined together in Akademisk dugnad, and many offered “academic practise’ as part of that, and some still do in collaboration with NAV. The information about the academic Project in the Mjosa Region can be accessed here

The Norwegian red cross prepared an information leaflet for those who have been granted protection/asylum (the Immigration Act Section 28) in Norway, or right of residence due to strong humanitarian considerations (the Immigration Act Section 38), and wish to apply for family reunification with spouse/cohabitant partner/child /sibling who was left behind in home country or another country.  

Some universities have connected with businesses/Chambers of Commerce to provide on-boarding programmes, which will assist with the integration, visa-processes and practical things for new-comers. For example: the Oslo region and Bergen  region (CoE's example of good practice).
