As part of ACA's series of "European Policy Seminars", the tenth seminar will be held on 5th May 2006 in Brussels, and is titled: Cooperation in higher education between Europe and other world regions: Asia

The global dimension of European higher education is a hot topic, but the relationship with it is a “burning one”. The European Union, its member states and universities are actively promoting cooperation with Asian countries. But are they doing enough, and are they using the right tools? This ACA European Policy seminar addresses Europe's achievements and shortcomings when it comes to cooperation with this world region. The seminar will elaborate on the findings of recent ACA studies, and share ACA’s latest insights on the theme. In addition to ACA staff, experts from the European Commission as well as national and institutional level experts from different European backgrounds will be among the speakers.
