The Education Exchanges Support Foundation (SMPF) is the new member of ACA. The Lithuanian agency was founded in 2007, is located in Vilnius and has about 45 employees. 

The Education Exchanges Support Foundation is Lithuania’s National Agency for all parts of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme and helps Lithuanian institutions implement the Bologna Process. Furthermore, it acts as the country’s National Structure for Erasmus Mundus, and it is responsible for the Tempus Programme. It also manages the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Nordplus scheme. It is in charge of Europass and Euroguidance, and it runs a number of nationally funded exchange programmes.

The Education Exchanges Support Foundation will help people take advantage of international cooperation. It offers guidance to potential applicants and provides information about various programmes and activities in education and training.

Lithuania has had 7,000 Erasmus students up to now, 3,000 Erasmus teachers and 5.000 persons have been involved in Leonardo so far.
