What can international higher education do for society?

The final conference of the Internationalisation in Higher Education for Society (IHES) project will take place in Brussels on the 15 June 2023, hosted by the Catalan Delegation.

The rich programme will include discussions on the potential of internationalisation for society, an examination of the IHES lab activities and how they foster new innovative projects in lectures, roundtables, and networking opportunities.

Project partners will discuss the benefits and challenges of various approaches to linking internationalisation and societal engagement, through the several resources created throughout the project, such as the IHES mapping report, the online repository of good practice, the guidelines for creating new IHES activities, the IHES regional labs and the recently launched IHES network of organisations.

The project includes eight partner organisations with Palacký University Olomouc acting as the main coordinator.  The partners include Universitat Rovira i VirgiliDepartament D´Empresa i Coneixement and Grupo Santander in Spain,   Academic Cooperation Association and Lifelong Learning Platform in Belgium, and Global Impact Institute s.r.o. and the Olomouc Region in the Czech Republic.
