The ACA Secretariat was reinforced with one new colleague joining the team on 10 October 2022.

Ilker Bahar is ACA’s new Junior Communications Officer, taking over for Salome Dermati, whom we deeply thank for their valuable contribution to the team. Ilker’s main responsibilities include the editing, review, and publication of ACA's monthly newsletter "Education Europe," providing support for the management of ACA's social media channels and supporting the organisation and management of events.

Ilker recently graduated summa cum laude from the cultural studies master’s programme at KU Leuven University. He holds a bachelor’s degree with high honours in political science from Bogazici University in Istanbul. His fields of interest lie in the intersection of digital transformation, new media, and intimacy & communication within digital ecosystems. Ilker speaks Turkish (mother tongue), English, French, German, and Spanish.
