January has been a busy month for the UniWellS partners preparing the launch of a survey of mobile academics in Central-Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. Validated through a series of focus groups and interviews earlier this month, this survey will probe into mobility experiences and support needs of international PhD researchers and academics with at least three-month mobility experience at a higher education institution in the target region. Planned to be launched in February, this survey will be key for the design of high-quality personalised support services to mobile academics. 

In parallel, ACA has been leading another strand of the UniWellS data collection activities focused on harvesting the feedback from higher education staff involved in the management and delivery of welcome services. The Secretariat has designed and validated a questionnaire which will be used for conducting a series of interviews with higher education staff in the target countries in the coming months.
