Universities UK International (2021). Short-Term Mobility Long-Term impact.
Universities UK International (UUKI) published the report called “Short-term mobility long-term impact”, which explores the inclusive international opportunities of short-term mobilities (less than four weeks) by assessing current participation, impact, and good practices.
As short term mobilities have been on the rise, this report sets out to discover why students are attracted to this type of international mobility, how to increase participation, how to make recommendations to support universities in developing and implementing effective strategies and best practices for short-term programmes, and how to identify existing barriers to participation.
The reports’ analysis is based on information derived from student focus groups, surveys, and institutional data used to map current participation and impacts. It presents institutional perspectives on short-term mobility using 16 case studies and sharing good practices and lessons learned.
