The Netherlands-based StudyPortal team launched BachelorsPortal.eu and PhDPortal.eu, sister-sites of the existing Mastersportal.eu webpage. The concept of these websites is to support students and researchers to search for, and compare, different academic courses offered in different European countries. Specific surveys were conducted among students and researchers in order to collect relevant information.

Visitors can choose from over than 500 bachelors, more than 13 500 masters and 300 PhD programmes in English, French or German. The different study courses can be sorted with the help of basic and advanced search options by disciplines, countries, language of tuition, the amount of tuition fees, educational form, duration of studies, special programmes and other keywords. Universities and colleges can also benefit from these portals giving more publicity to their courses. Furthermore higher education institutions can register their courses making them visible for international students.
