The Structure of the European Education Systems 2011/12: Schematic Diagrams

The Structure of the European Education Systems 2011/12: Schematic Diagrams. Eurydice, European Commission, Brussels, 2011. Pages: 8.

The Eurydice network, a Brussels-based unit established by the European Commission and EU member states to provide information and analysis on education systems and policies in Europe, has recently produced an update of its general overview of European education systems.

Together with school and academic calendars of the EU member states, EFTA countries, Croatia and Turkey, The Structure of the European Education Systems 2011/12: Schematic Diagrams is part of the Eurydice “Facts and Figures” series related to education. This graphical reference tool provides a concise overview of the entire national educational sectors in 31 European countries (27 EU member states as well as Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway and Turkey), with the exceptions of doctoral studies and special education. Aiming to facilitate the comparison of different national educational systems, this general information can be of interest for a wide range of users including students, academics and policy makers.
