ACA is participating in a European Union funded project called Hextlearn. It is a three year initiative to promote quality in the strategic use of ICT in European higher education. The representatives of eleven institutions from all over the continent and beyond held their kick-off meeting on 14-15 January 2008 in Budapest. The coordinator is Scienter, Italy, and the contractor is Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

The network aims to generating awareness, commitment and networking on quality assurance and strategic integration of ICT in teaching, learning and innovation in European higher education. The partners aim to map good practices, analyse different approaches in ICT/eLearning processes, carry out peer review exercises based on collaboration between experts of ICT approaches and applications.
