Alumni Farnesina is a network recently created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in association with Uni-Italia, for all the international students who were awarded a scholarship by the Italian Government to study in Italy. The aim of the project is to create a space for alumni to meet and exchange ideas and to keep the bond between Italy and the international talents.

The network uses a portal which was launched on April 3 and is dedicated to the over 700 alumni from six pilot countries – Argentina, Egypt, North Macedonia, Senegal, Slovakia, and Vietnam. The portal is now online and will soon be available for alumni from all over the world.

Since its beginning in 1955, the Italian Government scholarship program has involved thousands of students from over a hundred countries. Through the portal Alumni Farnesina, former grantees will be able to get in touch with other alumni from all over the world to share their personal, academic and professional experience, and be informed about exclusive events organised for them by the Farnesina and the Italian Embassies, Consulates and Institutes of Culture abroad.
