The
first international Open Archive in Technology Enhanced Learning, TeLearn, has been recently created with the purpose to collect and offer up-to-date research in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL). It enables researchers to search, submit and view
a variety of TEL-related publications – articles, presentations, courses, reports, grey literature, but also audio and video materials. TeLearn is
intended for teachers, policy-makers and the public. The idea in the long term is to establish the TeLearn archive as a sustainable service so that it meets the needs and concerns of researchers and publishers.
TeLearn is launched by the Kaleidoscope Network of Excellence, a European research network supported by the 6
th Framework Programme of the European Union. Kaleidoscope is also a member of the Open Archive Initiative, an international movement aiming to support researchers to share the outcomes of their work publicly and reliably.
