The Swiss Programme for Erasmus+ for higher education, called Swiss-European Mobility Programme – SEMP, gives the possibility to higher education institutions to support mobility and cooperation opportunities both, for students and teaching & administrative staff.

The Swiss programme, re-implemented in 2021, encourages cooperation between Switzerland and the Erasmus+ countries. To ensure reciprocity, the programme also financially supports incoming participants from Erasmus+ countries who stay in Switzerland. Even though the programme primarily funds mobility projects, institutional cooperation in the framework of Erasmus+ collaborative projects is also supported.

The 2022 call is now open to higher education institutions that can submit their application to Movetia, the Swiss agency for the promotion of exchanges and mobility in the education system and member of ACA.

The upcoming application deadline is set for the 1 March 2022.
