The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has launched a new programme, "Support for the European Universities," beginning its call for projects on April 8, 2024. It is planned that the implementation of projects will start from October 2024 and will last for 2 years.
The aim of the programme is to create synergies, support the activities of Polish partners in European Universities and facilitate cooperation with foreign partners in these alliances. Eligible applicants are Polish universities that participate in European Universities or are preparing to start cooperation within the Initiative of European Universities. The programme enables diverse and broad activities that support building and development of strategic academic partnerships and promote implementation of long-term cooperation with foreign partners.
Projects may also include activities complementary to schemes implemented under the European Universities Program, tasks related to capacity building of higher education institutions on the international arena and promotion of best practices and innovative solutions in the field of higher education (e.g. joint educational programmes, international mobilities of staff and students, micro-credentials).
The programme is financed by the European Union under the project entitled Supporting European University Alliances, No. FERS.01.05-IP.08-0219/23. Find out more on NAWA’s website [in Polish].
