The DAAD has updated and completely revised its website www.study-in.de. The website provides information to international students and those who are planning to study at a German institution on studying and living in Germany. A new feature is the guide “Studying in Germany in ten steps” aiming to support prospective students during the preparation phase. The section “Discover Germany” presents fact and figures, introduces university towns as well as a number of good reason for choosing Germany as a study destination.  The website also includes information on very practical issues, such as application procedures, visa issues or the registration in Germany. Over 6.000 interested persons per day visit this website.
