Lifelong Learning Programme: 2007 call for proposals
This is a reminder of the forthcoming call for proposals under the Lifelong Learning Programme. Most of them are still to be officially launched.
Deadline for applications:

• Erasmus University Charter: 28 February 2007 (see also in this edition of ACA Newsletter- Education Europe).
• Jean Monnet programme: 15 March 2007
• Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig: 30 March 2007
• Transversal Programme and Accompanying Measures: 30 April 2007

Total indicative budget for the general call: 784 million Euros

ERASMUS Mundus External Cooperation Window: Extended call for proposals
ERASMUS Mundus External Cooperation Window is a new programme for student and teacher mobility within and outside Europe.
Deadline extended: until 28 February 2007
Budget per individual projects: between 1 and 6 million Euros depending on the geographical lot concerned

Upcoming call for proposals under EU-Canada relations
In December 2006, a new Agreement on Higher Education, Training and Youth was signed between the EU and Canada. The agreement will be in force until 2013. A call for proposals is due to be launched in the coming months.
