The Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window aims at mutual enrichment and better understanding between the European Union and ‘third countries’ through institutional cooperation in the field of higher education. The European Commission grants will contribute to financing institutional-based partnerships to cover the organisation and implementation of individual mobility of students and academic staff.

The types of mobility and education to be funded in this call are:

• Students: undergraduate, master, doctorate and post-doctorate mobility opportunities; and
• Academic staff: exchanges for the purposes of teaching, practical training and research.

The duration of a project may not exceed 48 months. Applicants must be universities or other European higher education institutions representing a partnership of up to 20 institutions in the EU and in eligible third countries (for a complete list and a partner search tool, please follow the link below).
