The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission opened a new call for proposals under the overarching EU-Canada bilateral cooperation Programme, for two types of actions in higher education:
The Transatlantic Exchange Partnerships (TEP) action funds projects that allow EU-Canada consortia of higher education and training institutions to develop joint study and training programmes, as well as programmes on student and faculty mobility. The support is provided to the administration and for students and members of the academic and administrative staff in the form of grants. The maximum duration of TEP projects is 36 months.
The Transatlantic Degree Partnerships (TDP) action supports projects that seek to develop dual/double or joint degree programmes. Financial support is provided for the development work and administration, but also in the form of grants for students and members of the academic and administrative staff. The maximum duration of TDP projects is 48 months.
The main aim of this call for proposals is to contribute to transatlantic exchanges between European and Canadian education institutions. The programme functions on a co-financing basis, with a joint financial contribution of both the European Union and Canada.
