Still open: Call for proposals — EAC/29/2012 — The impact of Erasmus mobility and Intensive Programmes on skills development, employability, institutional development and the internationalisation of higher education institutions

In August, the European Commission launched a call for proposals for an evaluation of the impact of the Erasmus programme as a driver for modernisation of higher education in Europe and its value to the creation of a European Higher Education Area. Particular focus should be paid to the identification of EU added value of the Erasmus programme in the following areas:

  • Erasmus student mobility (for studies and placements): individual skills enhancement, employability and institutional development;
  • Teaching assignment/staff training: development of individual competences, impact on institutional development and international profile; and
  • Intensive Programmes (IP): development of individual competences, impact on institutions, international development, and institutional profile.
