On April 24, the European Commission launched a call for proposals for provision of services for the development and running of the Marie Curie Alumni Association and related services. There are currently an estimated 50 000 past and present beneficiaries from Marie Curie Actions all eligible to join the alumni association. The vast majority of fellows stem from the 7th Framework Programme (2007-2013) and they may currently use a web-based portal to register and use a basic set of services as alumni. This call is an invitation to:

• organise and achieve the creation of an alumni legal entity wholly governed by its members;

• offer a set of attractive and relevant services keeping members actively involved;

• use the alumni organisation in order to disseminate the beneficial impacts of Marie Curie Actions, increase the cross-understanding of all stakeholders, researchers, research careers and opportunities and disseminate the outputs of researchers' work in a cross-disciplinary and international manner;

• perform surveys, manage work groups and organise meetings.
