The goal of this book is to extend the debate of how open, online resources might support learning across diverse contexts by involving 24 experts from 9 countries in Europe (e.g. Estonia, UK, Finland) and North America, who contribute to empirical evidence and ideas. Some of the topic dealt with in the book concern the modern learner, European policies on Open Educational Resources, workplace learning in informal networks, MOOCs, etc.
