German universities have seen rising numbers of international first-year students as well as scientists from abroad. At the same time growing numbers of German university professors are internationally mobile. This continuing trend is reflected in a study recently published by the DAAD, the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
