The PROFFORMANCE project partners will organise a series of webinars for higher education teachers and professionals across Europe. This project and its successor PROFFORMANCE+ aim to improve the quality of teaching and learning through the support of higher education teachers.
The series will feature eight topics of relevance to higher education teachers and other professionals in the field:
The webinar programme is based on the PROFFORMANCE educational excellence database containing ca. 130 higher education methodological good practices submitted by educators and professional communities from six countries for the 2021/2022 PROFFORMANCE Higher Education Teacher Award.
The webinars will consist of two parts. In the first part, participants will learn about existing good practices, while in the second part, they will be able to choose from a range of complementary activities. Furthermore, they will be able to get to know the PROFFORMANCE assessment tool which examines teaching performance in six thematic areas (student-centered course design, teaching and learning, student work evaluation, social impact, professional development, organisation and administration) and four priority areas (digitalisation, internationalisation, inclusion, sustainability) from three different perspectives (teacher, peer, and student), and also engage in knowledge exchange, and professional networking.
The first session of the series dedicated to student-centered course design will take place on 28 March 2023. The language of the webinar is English. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.
