PROFFORMANCE project enters a new phase

The international project aiming to develop a teaching performance assessment tool will continue as PROFFORMANCE+, with an enlarged set of partners, professional events and further development of PROFFORMANCE outputs planned in the next stage.

As of September 2022, the PROFFORMANCE+ project will involve, as partners, ministries from six countries (Austria, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Croatia, Hungary, and Serbia), coordinated by the Hungarian Ministry of Innovation and Culture. The Tempus Public Foundation (Hungary) will continue to be responsible for the operational implementation of the programme. Stakeholder organisations, such as the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA), the European Students' Union (ESU), the European University Association (EUA), the Georgian National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE), the University of Aveiro (Portugal), the Irish Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the RUN-EU University Association representing Széchenyi University, are involved in the project activities.

The PROFFORMANCE+ project will run from 2022 to 2025. It will add new features to the PROFFORMANCE Assessment Tool to make it more flexible and customizable and to enable targeted assessment of competencies related to four priority areas: internationalisation, digitalisation, sustainability and inclusion. The platform will be available this autumn.

It is also planned to organise another round of the Teaching Excellence Award Call in order to expand the Teaching Excellence Database with further innovative ideas and good practices. Furthermore, the programme will include the design of a teacher training course portal and short online courses and tutorials in line with the four priority areas. Interested higher education professionals are invited to join various thematic webinars that will be organised to share good practice and showcase different dimensions of the assessment tool. Finally, the PROFFORMANCE Ambassadors will disseminate the project outputs at various professional events and conferences.
