The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) invites young people to study in Poland.
The Poland My First Choice Scholarship Programme aims to encourage young talented people to pursue studies at the best Polish higher education institutions (HEIs). The scholarship’s offer is addressed to citizens of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Chile, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Uruguay, the UK, the US, and to Chinese citizens residing in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
The Programme gives the opportunity to pursue full-time second-cycle studies, in every academic discipline, at the highest-quality public and private HEIs. The latter are marked as A or A+ according to the latest evaluation and are subordinated to the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
As specified in the Programme Regulations, the monthly NAWA scholarship amounts to PLN 2 000 (approximately EUR 460) for covering the living allowance during the period of education in Poland. In the case of public HEIs, the Programme also offers an exemption from education fees.
The call for applications for the Poland my first choice Scholarship Programme is open until 14 May 2019. Since the selection procedure is highly competitive, candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview conducted by an Evaluation Committee appointed by the Director of NAWA.
