Registration is now open for the 3rd European Universities Conference, taking place on 20 May 2026 at Poznan University of Technology, Poland. Organised by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) – Poland’s National Agency for Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps – the conference will gather university leaders, policymakers and experts to discuss the future of European higher education.  

Under the theme “Shaping the Future of European Universities – Integrated Knowledge, Capacity and Skills”, this year’s edition will focus on three key priorities:  

• Education – including the European Degree Label and innovative learning pathways; 
• Research – focusing on stronger synergies between Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe; and  
• Responsible internationalisation in a changing geopolitical landscape – with an emphasis on actions undertaken within European Universities alliances.  

The event aims to offer a valuable platform for institutions engaged in the European Universities Initiative and all those interested in the next phase of European cooperation in higher education.
