Nuffic is set to open a new office in Mexico. Located in Mexico City, it will be Nuffic’s fifth Netherlands Education Support Office (NESO), but the first in Latin America. The other four NESOs are in East and Southeast Asia.

Similar to the role of Nuffic’s existing overseas offices, NESO Mexico will be tasked with marketing Dutch higher education in Mexico. Its key activities will include informing students about study opportunities in the Netherlands, as well as facilitating partnerships and cooperative ties between universities in Mexico and higher education institutions in the Netherlands. NESO Mexico will officially open its doors in September 2006.
