Over the summer, the European Network on International Student Mobility: Connecting Research and Practice (ENIS network), in which ACA is active through both Secretariat and ACA members expert colleagues, released its first set of policy briefs (5). The briefs, touching upon key aspects of international student mobility (ISM) – from flows during the Covid-19 pandemic, access and integration, professional value, and concrete role of specific actors in ISM – were co-authored by key scholars and practitioners active in the ENIS network.

The briefs are based on the existing scientific and professional literature on ISM and are informed by the members’ expertise in this area, aiming to unpack key research findings in a digestible and useful manner for the main target audiences – policy makers and practitioners in ISM – to ensure their take-up and impact in practice. Each brief puts forward several actionable recommendations, and showcases examples of good practice, providing further references for more in-depth reads.

The five briefs are available via the ENIS network website, the authors’ information being enclosed therein:

The network is also gearing up for its next large-scale conference, due to take place on 13-15 May 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia, hosted by the Business and Technology University. A call for proposals, posters and sessions is open until 15 October 2023. Further information is available on the event page.
