Next ACA seminar on cooperation between the EU and Latin America: Final programme online

The full programme of the 11th ACA European Policy Seminar “Cooperation in higher education between Europe and other world regions: Latin America” is now online. ACA is tackling cooperation with third countries for the second time, after the success of the first semainr in the series (cooperation with Asia) in May.

Renowned experts will address different themes around higher education and internationalisation in Latin America, discuss European programmes and policies towards Latin America, and present projects focusing on this region:

  • Hans de Wit (Director of the Hague Forum for Judicial Expertise/Consultant and Researcher International Higher Education, The Netherlands)
  • Stefan Lauterbach (Head of the International Office, Saarland University, Germany)
  • Alberto Sereno (Director of the AlBan Office, Porto, Portugal)
  • Ramon Torrent (Professor of Political Economy at the University of Barcelona (UB)/Coordinator of the Observatory of EU – Latin America Relations (OBREAL-EULARO), Spain)
  • Bastian Bauman (Consultant Tuning Latin America/FU Berlin, Germany)
  • Smilja Dabène (International Development Manager at the Science Po Undergraduate Campus for Latin American and Iberian Studies, France)
  • Christoph Hansert (Head of Section University Management and International Consultancy Projects, DAAD, Germany).

The early bird deadline to register at a reduced rate is approaching. Don’t hesitate any longer, the number of participants is limited to 90, and two thirds of the places are already taken.
