Germany is currently facing a high influx of refugees. Although housing and support may be immediate priorities, education is key to the further integration of refugees in society. The German Ministry for Education and Research will invest EUR 130 million to support the integration of refugees into education and training. Focus will be laid on the acquisition of the German language, recognition of competencies as well as the integration of refugees in training and employment. Press release (in German)
