The ACA Secretariat warmly welcomes Paulina Mihailova as a new trainee. Paulina, though a Bulgarian native, has been pursuing her university studies in Sweden. At present, Paulina is working on her PhD thesis at the Department of Social Anthropology, Stockholm University. Her thesis investigates how higher education policies circulate between different levels of decision making: from the EU level to the national/local level and back, with a focus on the new quality assurance systems being introduced within Swedish higher education.

Paulina has been appointed the new editor of the ACA Newsletter – Education Europe, but she will certainly contribute to other ACA projects as well.
