New serial publication for e-learning: eLearning Papers

The first edition of a new publication, the eLearning Papers, has just seen the light of the day: this new journal for publications related to e-learning is part of the portal elearningeuropa.info, which was launched by the European Commission in 2002 to promote education and training through multimedia and technological tools. eLearning Papers aims to build a new channel for exchange of information on e-learning in Europe, promote the use of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) for lifelong learning in Europe, and stimulate research.

The journal will be focused on the four areas which underpin the elearningeuropa.info portal: schools, higher education, training and work, and learning and society. Exemplary topics are technologies, pedagogy, process, quality and evaluation, eInclusion and learning environments. The journal will be published every two months. Each article is available in full in its original language and is planned to have executive summary in the impressive number of 19 European languages. Researchers and e-learning practitioners are encouraged to submit their work. The elearningeuropa.info portal has an e-mail alert service to announce every new edition of eLearning Papers. eLearning Papers
