Under a new name and with a new design, this brochure for (prospective) international doctoral students, Doing a PhD in Germany, presents the different options for doing a doctorate in Germany. It explains the formal requirements and gives some practical advice on finding the right supervisor or doctoral programme. It also outlines different sponsorship and funding options. The booklet can be ordered online via the DAAD’s publication ordering system, in the section “PhD studies and research in Germany”.
