The ACA Secretariat is happy to announce a new member of staff at the Brussels office: Marijke Geerts, the new Office Manager, joined the team on 28 November, just before the Vienna Conference. Marijke is Belgian, and she joined ACA after finishing university. She has studied Communication Sciences at the VUB in Brussels. During her studies she has completed an internship at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Marijke will be replacing Maaike Dhondt, who will not come back after her three months maternity leave starting in January. ACA wishes to thank Maaike for the outstanding work she has done in the three and a half years she has spent at ACA. The Secretariat, the members and all of ACA’s friends will miss her a lot and wish her all the best for her next “project”: another little baby son.
