DAAD has announced the expansion of its network of German Centres for Research and Innovation (DWIH) through the establishment of a sixth location in San Francisco. With this new location, the network will be able to enlarge its IT and Artificial Intelligence focus in a particularly dynamic region of the world.

The German Centres for Research and Innovation (DWIH) are an association of German research organisations, higher education institutions and the research industry; supported by the German Foreign Office. At five locations worldwide in New York, São Paulo, Moscow, New Delhi and Tokyo, the DWIH present the German research and innovation landscape at specialist events, offer research collaborations with the respective country and enable close international networking of innovation leaders.
