New dates for ACA’s “What’s New in Brussels?” – 4-5 March 2021

Since 2004, the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA) has hosted a successful start-of-the-year European Policy Seminar (EPS) for colleagues working in the field of the internationalisation of higher education - What’s New In Brussels? Recent developments in European policies and programmes. Policymakers, practitioners and politicians have graced us with their expertise and wisdom over the years to ensure that seminar participants went home with the most in-depth perspectives possible.

To ensure our participants continue to go home (or indeed, stay-at-home) with that in-depth expertise on the most recent and relevant European-level developments, ACA has rescheduled the event—taking place for the first time fully online—from the original dates of 28-29 January 2021 to 4-5 March 2021, to follow more closely the foreseen timeline for the launch of the 1st call for proposals under the new Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027). The event remains fully online and continues to feature a range for key policymakers and experts from within the European institutions, higher education institutions and organisations active in higher education. Têtes d'affiche are Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth and MEP Michaela Šojdrová, CULT Committee Rapporteur European Education Area (EEA), European Parliament

Join us for this interactive online discussion, which will feature concrete approaches higher education institutions and national agencies can employ to overcome our current challenges in the sector and put the new European directions on inclusion, digitalisation and the green agenda into practice.

Registration is possible until 22 February 2021 and a discount is available for ACA members as well as for higher education institutions from ACA members’ countries. All bookings are fully refundable up to 15 February.  In addition, registered participants will have access to the content of the seminar via an online platform for several weeks after the event. You can find more information about the seminar and how to register here.
