Nuffic’s Netherlands Education Support Offices (NESOs) have just expanded to Mexico. As the first NESO office to be established outside South East Asia, NESO Mexico is being honored by the Dutch Ministry of Education with four scholarships for bright young Mexican students wanting to pursue higher education in the Netherlands. Financed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, the NESOs emerged in 2001 as forefront providers of Dutch higher education information to students, institutions, and researchers in key areas of cooperation throughout the globe. Current offices are located in Beijing, Taipei, Jakarta, and Ho Chih Minh City. Nuffic intends to expand this network to Sao Paulo, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Moscow. Press release
