NAWA promotes summer courses of Polish Language and Culture

The promotion of the Polish language is one of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) main tasks. The objective of summer courses is to teach and promote Polish language and culture abroad by offering foreign Polish language university teachers and foreign students the possibility to participate in several-week long courses of Polish language and culture organised in Poland. In addition to the opportunity of free participation in the course and cultural programme, participants will also receive food and accommodation along with a scholarship of approximately EUR 150. Deadline for submitting the application is 18 March 2019 15:00 (GMT+1).

The programme is addressed mainly to Polish language learners and persons who intend to start learning Polish. NAWA would like to encourage foreign students to continue learning the Polish language after they return to their universities or to take up university studies in Poland. Owing to participation in the course, foreigners will be able not only to enhance their linguistic competence but also become more familiar with Poland and its inhabitants, and to meet other students from many different parts of the world who share the same interests in the Polish language, culture and heritage.
