Mid-point review and stakeholder consultation kick-off for the Digital Education Action Plan

On 29 April 2024, from 10:00 to 16:00 CET, the European Commission will host an essential event in the Charlemagne building, marking a significant milestone—the mid-point of the implementation of the Digital Education Action Plan, the Commission's cornerstone strategy for enriching European educational landscapes through digital means.

The Commission will not only reflect on the steps taken towards high-quality, inclusive, and accessible digital education and training but will also set the stage for a comprehensive review of the plan’s effectiveness and reach. The Launch event of the Digital Education Action Plan Review will foster conversations around the future of digital education in Europe and formally commence the stakeholder consultations round.

The Digital Education Action Plan has been instrumental in fostering the development  of a high-performing digital education ecosystem and enhancing digital competences crucial for Europe's digital transformation. As the plan progresses, its dual objective remains clear and more relevant than ever.

For those interested, more details about the event and its follow up can be found at the official European Education Event page.
