This call, a series of new grants under Marie Curie, aims to reinforce the international career of European researchers. Beneficiaries of the grants awarded will return to an organisation in a member state or associated country with new knowledge and experience. The research topics will be freely chosen by the researcher in collaboration with the return host organisation, with a view to completing and/or diversifying her/his expertise. Researchers will be encouraged to play an active role in shaping their own training programme and professional development.

The Marie Curie actions have developed significantly over time, from pure mobility fellowships to a programme dedicated to stimulating researchers’ career development.
