The European Commission has launched a new call for proposals under the EU-Canada programme aimed at developing
Transatlantic Exchange Partnerships (TEP). Such projects are to be proposed and implemented by consortia of EU and Canadian higher education institutions. In support of transatlantic mobility, mutual credit recognition and linguistic exchange, consortium projects should be
joint study and/or training programmes.
At least four institutions (two Canadian and two European) are expected to enter into collaboration for each project and the focus should be transatlantic as opposed to inter-continental.
For EU institutions, the estimated
budget is .96 million Euro. Canadian institutions will be provided comparable funding over a period of three years.
Application deadline: 31 May 2007
