ACA member, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is funding again (for more details see ACA Newsletter – Education Europe, October 2020) 16 projects on internationalisation of universities of applied sciences in the context of the DAAD programme UAS.International.

The selected projects will now receive around EUR 8 millions in funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) until 2025. DAAD is helping students and academics at universities of applied sciences to carry out study and research visits abroad to enhance their international competences. Moreover, DAAD’s programme UAS.International is supporting higher education institutions in their efforts to establish cooperation projects with international partners and to anchor transnational partnerships within their own institutional infrastructure. Within the programme DAAD also provides consultation, continuing education and dialogue programmes accompanying these measures.
