According to a new survey of members carried out by the European University Association (EUA), Europe’s universities are already quite international and most have internationalisation strategies in place. A membership consultation was conducted in the period from 14 January to 26 February 2013, and two main questions were asked: 

• what the university would expect from the EU higher education internationalisation strategy that is to be launched in June 2013, and 
• whether and to what extent members participate in EUA’s international activities, and what they would expect it to offer in the future.

Other questions were asked on the state of internationalisation at EUA member institutions and on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). The results of the consultation are presented in this report.
