Innovating Business Education for Responsible Global Minds

The Erasmus+ project ‘Innovating Business Education for Responsible Global Minds’ (IBE-ReGloMi), addressing the critical need for a new generation of business graduates equipped to drive sustainable and equitable transformation in business development, will organise its final conference on 11 and 12 June 2025 in Zuyd, the Netherlands. The project partners published a call for contributions with the deadline of 30 January 2025.

Taking place at International Business School Maastricht, the conference aims to bring together researchers, educators, companies, and students, who work on embedding ethics-sustainability-responsibility (ERS dimensions), international intercultural and global (IIG dimensions) and social innovation and entrepreneurship (SIE dimensions) in the curriculum not as separate silos but in an integrated approach. The conference includes three strands. Participants are invited to:

  • share their own research or teaching practice for embedding the UNSDGs in their curricula by submitting an abstract and paper.
  • engage with the outcomes of the IBE-ReGloMi project, its model for future oriented graduate attributes, its innovative student-centred pedagogies and examples, and its continuing professional development programme.
  • engage with student presentations on the business challenges they have been working on pertaining to ERS, IGG and SIE dimensions and perspectives.

The conference acts as an international learning community providing networking opportunities, knowledge exchange, share research results, enhance experiences, and inspiring stakeholders to resonate and engage with the IBE-ReGloMi goals.

Make sure to submit your abstracts before 30 January. More information is available here.

One of the key outcomes of the IBE-ReGloMi project, which included ACA as an associate partner, is a set of insights and tools to innovate higher business curricula, and support the students’ development as young professionals, who are able to take responsible business decisions that are based on economic, societal and ecological grounds, based on a comprehensive framework featured below.
