The study aims to contribute to the development of indicators on ICT in education and to get a better understanding of key issues, facts and trends in this field. This implies the assessment of data needs, of available data and thus of data gaps. It includes assessing the quality and comparability of existing statistical information and analysing the methodical soundness of possible indicators based on existing data. The outcome of the project will support the identification and the preparation of indicators covering ICT in education.
