The publication presents statistical data on the German higher education system focusing notably on the federal states of Germany. Data concerning university admission, numbers of graduates, academic staff-to-student ratio, financial resources, and the balance of student numbers among the federal states are visualised in a clear manner, offering a good overview of the current situation in the German higher education system.  The data provided are based on national statistics on higher education and may not coincide with other international statistics on the German higher education system due to different definitions and classifications employed. The publication is currently only available in German, but is thanks to its clear visualisations worth a look in any case.
