This edited volume is one outcome of the EduLink ACP–EU cooperation programme in higher education, which is a key initiative for collaborative activity between the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States and the European Union. The book is comprised of eight chapters authored by a team of experts involved directly in African higher education or active in cooperative programmes in the higher education sphere on the continent.
