Harno has initiated preparations for the upcoming programme cycle of "Study in Estonia," spanning 2024 to 2027. This phase aims to review target countries and incorporate new demographic groups, such as expatriate Estonians and Ukrainian war refugees. In collaboration with a communication agency, the initiative will involve interviews with university marketing managers to understand strategic approaches. Additionally, the programme's digital footprint from 2014 to 2023 will undergo thorough analysis. 

"International cooperation enriches higher education, enhancing its quality. Motivated international students are vital for Estonia's economic and societal development. I look forward to the outcomes of these discussions," states Heli Aru-Chabilan, Director of Harno's Internationalisation Department. 

The assessment results are expected to be ready by the end of March and will be discussed jointly by the representatives of universities, Ministry of Education and Research and Harno. 

The funding for Study in Estonia programme for 2024-2027 period is provided by the European Social Fund.
