The Global University Network for Innovation (GUNI), has announced the publication of a new annual report. Higher Education in the World 2006 brings together leading academic thinkers from across the globe to comment on the current state of higher education. Funding of higher education is analysed from regional and theoretical perspectives. The report includes data from five continents, and focuses specifically on the theme of the social commitment of universities.
